People

Though Rustenburg is one of the most populous municipality in North West province of South Africa, yet, the local economy is getting even stronger.  You can find everything on this municipality because many establishments have been developed like restaurants, local shops, health and beauty spas and other services. This city is also known for having the biggest platinum mines in the world which has greater value than gold and for this reason, economic situation here is said to be growing very fast.

Education

Education in Rustenburg has 3 tier of system – from primary to secondary to tertiary education. Public schools are funded by the government while private schools are funded by fees. However, the quality of education has great advances because of the introduction of new technology to the students who live here compared to other state in Africa.

Leisure

Majority of the tourists usually visit the Lost City and Sun City to experience the ultimate night out of dining and entertainment.  If you are a nature lover, another wonderful place to visit is the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and here you will see the rhinoceros, lion, leopard and other amazing animals. Over hundreds of birds species have also been recorded here and Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve and it is the right place if you want to spot some of them.
