Fashion, for your house?
A house isn’t simply a place where we live, but a home. And with that, a house also nowdays has its own fashion statement! I had an interview with the owners of Between us interiors and coffee shop to ask for a few tips on housefashion.
With 17 years of experience, they could answer me straight away on the ins and outs of home décor. What will be in this year according to ChristelleDelport: “We are headed back to the 90’s, with allot of silver, and ofcourse leather will always be in. But I would like to see people be more expressive in their décor”. Cathy Delport added “Brown and silver, and of course natural colours will mostly be a customer choice. Linen, velvets and plain material will also be in”.
I asked about their business and what according to them is most important.According to Cathy “Customer service, relationships and also follow up is extremely important”.The coffee shop also helps with making clients feel at home. Between us certainly gives a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for any meeting, social or business.
Cathy warned “don’t buy cheap products, because in the long run, it is likely not to last”. So spice up your house in 2013.Give it a brand new, in fashion ‘outfit’.
